The Stone House offers regular community practice days that are offered freely and are open to the public. Held mostly in silence, the days typically are composed of periods of both sitting and walking meditation with some time for dialog built in; some Days of Practice include yoga. The teachings are designed to thread an understanding between contemplative practices and the work of transformation in the world. Often themed in accordance with the season, participants are invited to explore the way that lessons of the natural world have significance for our lives and work. Days of Practice are suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators.
Days of Practice are typically held on Saturdays from 10 am – 4 pm, with lunch included. Dana is accepted for the teachings and space. Please visit our events calendar to register.
